Luger P.08

Added a Luger P.08 to the collection.

I still have to do a detailed search on all the proofing stamps and numbers, but quick research shows it’s a Mauser from 1936, with Weimar Eagles.

It’s all number matching, except for the magazines and the take-down tool.

I bought it from a guy whose grandfather brought it back from Germany after WWII, and it hasn’t been fired since. It was the second one he brought home, the first one had matching magazine and holster, but as the story goes, this one was won in a game of gambling on the boat back to the US.
